Installation of Officers
Local Contributions and Patriotic Endeavors
Living in San Antonio, we are very involved with organizations serving our military. On both the local and state level, DAC has made the Fisher Houses a project. We have had representatives of the Lackland and VA Houses speak to our chapter. We have made donations to the Fisher Houses, and we contribute various supplies to them-including toiletries, toilet paper, & cleaning supplies.
Support to the Warrior and Family Support Center at Fort Sam has come in the form of Pizza Parties.
Christmas cards were sent to Audie Murphy Veterans Hospital to be distributed to their patients.
Donated items to various entities included lap robes, toys, books, & gift cards.
Donations have been made to Wreaths Across America for the placement of wreaths at Ft. Sam National Cemetery and Arlington National Cemetery.
